If you’re anything like me, you appreciate a good cup of quality coffee. Here in Vietnam, coffee isn’t just a drink-it’s a ritual, a mood, a cultural signature.
The coffee is bold, slow, and unapologetically strong, while being deeply grounding – a lot like the country it’s self.
I have been asking myself-“why did spirit lead me here-what did I come to do…what is my purpose here?” Sometimes, I’m surprised at the answers I receive as it’s rarely what I expect.
Here’s the answer; it’s like a “holding station” or an in-between place for me to take time to get prepared for this new cycle coming in 2026. I suppose it’s not a coincidence since historically Vietnam holds a tremendous energy of transition. It’s a place people rarely plan to stay forever but where they stay long enough to change. Never knew this til after I arrived…Umm.

Looking deeper into this threshold energy, it’s a place where old life dissolves and your direction recalibrates. OK…a better way of saying it – it’s a place not where you began, not where you’ll end , but where you shed what no longer fits. This is exactly where I find myself at this moment.
I’ve learned since being here, people come either burned out, disillusioned, or mid-awakening-and the land gently says, “listen- remember what really matters.”
Life is definitely simpler and slower than some other spaces in South East Asia but I suppose it has to be, if it’s going to function as a spiritual decompression chamber.
All this clarity over a cup of good coffee… Aahhh. Spirit knows me well and is always on point.
