How I Knew I Was Called to Be a Spiritual Guide & Coach

There was never one exact moment where I suddenly decided to become a spiritual guide or coach.

Looking back, I think I always was one.

Even before I had the language for it, people naturally came to me for guidance, clarity, healing, perspective, and truth. I was always the one asking deeper questions, searching beneath the surface, trying to understand people, pain, patterns, purpose, and energy.

But becoming a guide is not just about helping others.

It is about being willing to continuously face yourself.

One of the biggest misconceptions people have about spiritual coaches and guides is that we somehow “arrive” at enlightenment or perfection. We don’t. We are human beings too. We still grow. We still evolve. We still confront our shadows, fears, wounds, blind spots, and lessons.

In fact, I believe the best guides are the ones who never stop doing their own work.

I’ve had coaches. I still have mentors and teachers. I invest in myself constantly because growth requires reflection, refinement, accountability, and support. Sometimes another guide can see what you cannot see within yourself.

Sometimes they help illuminate the exact lesson you are still learning.

Sometimes they help you arrive somewhere faster, with more clarity and less suffering.

That is wisdom.

And that wisdom has deeply shaped the standards I hold for my own life.

Not just in how I work with clients, but in how I live.

This path has made me more intentional about the energy I embody, the spaces I enter, the people I surround myself with, the way I care for my body, my mind, my spirit, and the way I move through the world. Because when you guide others, your life itself becomes part of the message.

Spiritual Growth Requires Healing Yourself First

Over time, I’ve also learned that evolution creates clarity.

Many of us begin our journey doing several things, exploring different modalities, studying different teachings, and trying to understand where we fit.

But eventually, through experience and devotion, we become more refined. More precise. More specialized.

That’s where I find myself now.

The deeper I evolve, the more I understand my true work: helping people heal at the root, reconnect to themselves, regulate their nervous systems, integrate their shadows, and remember who they truly are beneath conditioning, pain, survival mode, and inherited patterns.

And honestly, I don’t see spiritual coaching as being very different from investing in any other important area of life.

People invest in beautiful homes, degrees, wellness, therapy, education, travel, and medical care because those things improve the quality of their lives.

Spiritual guidance is no different.

It is an investment into your inner world, your healing, your clarity, your peace, your purpose, your relationships, and your ability to fully embody your life.

How Spiritual Coaching Helps People Heal at the Root

One of the deepest investments I’ve made into my own growth has been my willingness to continually step beyond what is familiar.

I’ve written books, studied different healing modalities, and traveled across the world connecting with spiritual teachers, healers, mystics, and guides from many different walks of life.

Not just to teach, but to receive. To listen. To expand.

I truly believe that sometimes we have to leave the environment we’ve always known in order to access new wisdom, deeper healing, and the medicine that our soul is searching for.

Some lessons cannot be learned by staying in the same place.

And every experience, every teacher, every sacred conversation has added depth to the work I now bring back to the people who are called to work with me.

For me, this work is not a trend.

It is a calling.

A lifelong devotion to growth, truth, healing, and remembrance.

And the beautiful thing is, we never stop becoming.
